An environmentally friendly alternative for chemical disinfection is the ultraviolet (UV) disinfection. This method is often used in industrial, recreational, and municipal water applications, and is one of the most functional methods for deactivating harmful pathogens such as Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Listeria, E.coli, and more.
